When someone criticises or disagrees with you, a small ant of hatred and antagonism is born in your heart. If you do not squash that ant at once, it might grow into a snake, or even a dragon.

ReplyDeleteYa, benar. harus dihilangkan. dan berjiwa besar. Yang harus digarisbawahi adalah berjiwa besar dan tentu saja bersikap dewasa dalam menyikapinya.

ReplyDeleteSalam,
ReplyDeleteMakasih sister Lena for the beautiful quote that goes so right with the good muslim principles. We (Muslims) are indebted towards each others with advice when seeing something wrong. The good muslim always accepts advice from another muslim.
My today's advice is how to spell 'Blessed Friday' in the Latin alphabet transliteration: 'Jumua'ah Mubarakah' is what I see is the closest as "a'a" stand for the arabic "ع". َAnd your MubarOkah should be with 'A' not 'O'.
Thanks again and Jumua'ah Mubarakah to you and all your beloved ones.
Salam
I came across that quote last year and it became an instant favourite. There's so much truth in that. Thanks for sharing :-)
ReplyDeletethank you my brother ... to your advice ...

ReplyDeleteAsalam Alaikum
ReplyDeleteSo very true mashaAllah wonderful quote. I am one that takes all criticism to heart and get hurt very easily. I have to just remember that those who criticize me to hurt me are not worth any anger and those that criticize me and are my friends just want what is best for me.
sometimes it's hard for us when someone criticizing us ... that's very natural ... but we sometimes find that criticism is worth for us to be a better person day by day ...
ReplyDeleteYes you are right sister. I hope if I do wrong someone will tell me. I always say though, it's not what you say but how you say it
